ABOUT THE ONLINE WRITING WORKSHOP

If you’re too far from Tucson, AZ to attend a live workshop, you can still learn to write using The Writers Studio’s unique, technique-oriented method by joining my Online ten-week workshop in Fiction and Poetry.

When The Writers Studio started their first Online Workshop in February 2001, it was a response to writers outside the New York City area, who had read about The Writers Studio and wanted to become part of the community. The response to their Online program has been great. I began to teach an Online class in September 2005. Students from Portugal, Switzerland, Honduras, California, New Hampshire and Alaska have all participated in my class. Increasingly, though, The Writers Studio is getting students from New Jersey and New York City. It seems that some local writers prefer the Online Classes because their schedules prevent them from attending evening classes, or they feel less vulnerable turning in work online. I think the Online Class is a great option. I recommend taking whichever class will help you write. If you live in Tucson, and it feels easier to study online, take my Level I class online. If you wish to continue in person, you can sign up for one of my Tucson classes.
